YouTube is coming up with smart downloads feature of music. The feature is also going to be added to the YouTube app soon. The feature of downloading a few music automatically will be added to the YouTube app when offline.
That’s why users must subscribe to YouTube premium. The site has given the opportunity to be listed till February 14 this year to enjoy the Smart Downloads feature.
The YouTube app will automatically download 20 videos every week through Smart Downloads. In this case, YouTube will follow the user’s recommended video algorithm.
The whole thing will be offline. This will not require the user to use any Internet connection or mobile data. For now the feature is experimentally applicable only to Limited Users of Europe on Android 12 version devices.
Although the need for smart downloads has already been criticized, analysts say users will get a chance to enjoy YouTube videos despite mobile data restrictions or internet connectivity. YouTube will send notifications to the user in case of a storage crisis on the phone again.
